Painted bag

A boring grey fabric got some colors

The back black and the inside lining red

Pillows machine embroidered

A simple way to make pillows:

take a colorful fabric and felt as a backing layer

do some machine embroidery 

easy peasy, new chair pillows

Flower, cross stitch

I like this red flower.

This is not the card I made (forgot to take a picture).

The list of colors has  some numbers of colors to much, 

In Anchor you do need:  28, 44, 46, 47, 683, 876, 878.

DMC: 893, 815, 666, 321, 500, 503, 501.

Spring, Cross stitch

The cold and dark days of the last weeks,

 make me desire of the nice colors the spring will bring us.

The bright red of the poppy,

and the yellow and purple.

Butterfly, Cross stitch

The butterfly is as in the original pattern

 The flower, I did change into a blue flower,
I think the blue color fits better with the orange of the butterfly

And a bit of yellow like in this Aglais urticae.
This butterfly has such an amazing combination of colors.

Easy X-mas decoration, recycling

Time to start making Christmas decoration

It is real simple and fun.

At the end I did put a straight pin not to untwine.

In a few days the roses will be dry,

And the colors will be slightly browner.  

A bit of spray paint and you have your Christmas
decoration for your door wall or table.
